Radio BOA (Bretagne On Air, Breizh On Air, Bertegn On Air), is an unprecedented project in France, born in July 2023. We are the first community radio to give a voice to the citizens of an entire region, Brittany!
Supported by 15 local Breton community radios, this media makes heard every day what brings life and vibrancy to our territory in its diversity and identity, thus creating a strong sense of attachment to our station.

Behind this project, hundreds of volunteers and radio professionals are united. Every day, these enthusiasts, whether beginners or already experienced in radio techniques, transmit their voices, their encounters, their knowledge, their sensibilities, their passions, their emotions.
Giving access to radio speech to civil society in every corner of Brittany is the very essence of our project and its uniqueness.
Canal B (Rennes-35); C-Lab (Rennes-35); Fréquence 8 (Montfort-sur-Meu-35); Plum'FM (Sérent-56 and Redon-35); Radio Activ' (Langueux-22); Radio Balises (Lanester-56); Radio Bro Gwened (Pontivy and Vannes-56); Radio Transistoc'h (Le Faou and Quimper-29); Radio Kerne (Ploneïs-29); Radio Naoned (Saint-Herblain-44); Radio Kreiz Breizh (Rostrenen-22) and its annex Radio Trégor-Goëlo (Guingamp-22); Radio Laser (Guichen-35); Radio Parole de vie (Saint-Malo-35); Radio U (Brest and Quimper-29); Timbre FM (Augan-56).
Radio BOA is the successful bet of a trilingual, committed citizen radio on the airwaves of all Brittany. It's a magnificent radio and human adventure that draws its energy from the volunteers and employees of the 15 radios that gave it life, from daily citizen expression from every corner of Brittany, and from the permanent involvement of its editorial partners.
This regional tool is a magnificent tool for contributing to social democracy in our territory. We create connections and we are a bulwark against media formatting and single thinking.
We will convince all listeners in Brittany to listen to us, join us, and support us to keep Brittany alive on the airwaves, for a long time!
Long live Radio, long live our radios, and long live Radio BOA!
Help us keep citizen radio alive in Brittany! Every donation counts to maintain our independence and develop our programs.
