Located in Sérent, in the Morbihan region, Plumfm is a free and independent community radio that aims to be intergenerational, featuring diverse programs and serving as a disruptor of routine, a generator of ideas, and a radio laboratory. Plum'fm is a participatory media platform based on freedom of expression – radio made by everyone, for everyone – acting as a communication tool for the local residents and fostering social connections.
Plum'Fm takes pride in seeking out and broadcasting music from both local and global sources, aiming to introduce the audience to the full diversity of non-mainstream music from the past and present. Eclecticism is the guiding principle: folk, rock, pop, electro, soul, jazz, hip-hop, traditional, reggae, and more.
Originally created for educational purposes within the Plumelec Medico-Educational Institute in 1990, Plum'FM has consistently maintained its mission to give a voice to those who are seldom heard – unique voices that represent the richness of our community. Plum'FM serves as a tool for social cohesion, dedicated to the local community and its residents, always emphasizing proximity. It is a space for exchange and sharing, a radio laboratory that highlights local initiatives.
