Spotlight on Brittany-September 2023

It’s music all the way on our programme for September! We welcome back Coline Houssais, a researcher into Breton, Celtic and Arabic music, who has much to say about bagpipes and their extraordinary history, much further afield than Scotland! Then we meet breton Patrick Molard, international award-winning player of ‘pibroch’ on the bagpipes. After listening to these two, there’s little you won’t know about bagpipes!
